Arun Fine Arts is an exceptional place for wooden inlay work. We recently got a 4.5 feet rosewood uyyale (swing) with reversible backrest made by them, which is an outstanding piece of work. It was customized as per our design requirements. Mr. Ashok spent good time in understanding what we had in mind. It has a beautiful Mysuru dasara ambari procession as the main art coupled with Gandabherunda on both sides. He said this was the first time they did Gandabherunda inlay work, and it has come out extremely beautiful. For the reversible backrest, they did trials with normal wood to arrive at the right hinge joint design. The final product is extremely well finished, the handrest is smooth even with the reversible design and the backrest smoothly operates back n forth with ease. Last year, they made a 2x4 feet Geethopadesha rosewood inlay wall hanging. It's a beautiful piece of art that adorns our poojey room entrance. The finishing of inlay work and the details added beyond the main ratha are amazing. We have also got a dozen other items like trays and different wall hangings. These are incredibly beautiful and are a class-apart for gifting to loved ones.
